BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

Major:

Computer Science and BusinessThe Computer Science & Business program is a special program at Lehigh that is both ABET and AACSB accredited, meaning it is a full computer science and full business degree. I learn everything a computer science student learns, everything a business major learns, and how these disciplines interact in the modern world.

Minor:

Earth and Enviromental ScienceMatters of environmental quality and natural resources will increasingly impact people and society in the years to come. I've studied geology and conservation ecology as components of an integrated Earth system to educate myself and improve my impact on the world.

Relevent Courses:

CSE 109 - Systems SoftwareAdvanced programming and data structures, including dynamic structures, memory allocation, data organization, symbol tables, hash tables, B-trees, data files. Object-oriented design and implementation of simple assemblers, loaders, interpreters, compilers, and translators.
CSE 216 - Software EngineeringThe software lifecycle; lifecycle models; software planning; testing; specification methods; maintenance. Emphasis on team work and large-scale software systems, including oral presentations and written reports.
CSE 341 - Database Systems, Algorithms, and ApplicationsDesign of large databases; normalization; query languages (including SQL); Transaction-processing protocols; Query optimization; performance tuning; distributed systems.
